Please pray for me!

  • Apr. 28th, 2008 at 3:50 PM

I just wanted to update everyone.  I called the doctor this morning and if the problem starts up again tonight, I am
supposed to go the ER and be admitted, where my doctor is on call for the next 2 days, and he will get the
surgeries done that he sees fit, and get them over with.  So keep us all in your prayers!

What an interesting few days!

  • Apr. 28th, 2008 at 8:16 AM

Things have been really busy these days around here.  Let me start with last week.  I had a really bad weekend, and it sorta poured over into Monday as well, when it occured to me why I was having a bad few days, the 23rd was the day that my Dad had passed away....So that day came and before my feet hit the floor for the day, I had decided that I was going to have a good day, and that good ole Daddy would not want me to have a bad day.....So I got up and got things done, and smiled thru the day...
Wednesday came and my sister in law asked me if I would like to start our adventure early ( to all of you that don't know, I do the Freeland garage sales, and have done them for about 8 years)  and go out in the evening, as she was out there during the early part of the day, and she seen a-lot of movement out there.  So we went, and we got some stuff, but had fun together, (I also took my girls with me) and I needed to laugh and have a good time.
Thursday moring came and I got up when Chad went to work (4a.m) and got my shower and done some things around the house, got the kids off to school and hit the road running, to Freeland, that is....We were out there by 8:15, and there was so many sales.  Let me just add that I got Hannah done for summer, down to the shoes, and she is done for winter, with snow boots, snow suits, and brand new shoes.  Taylor is done for summer down to new shoes as well and I got her started for winter.  I ususally don't do one thing that I did, look for stuff for me, I am so focused on getting the kids done that I over look things for me, well not this time, I don't need any shorts or shirts for summer, or shoes...WOW....Your asking what about CJ?  Well I got him and Chad a matching Columbia jacket, and that is it.  He has grown so much that he is now in a mens size 30-31 waste.......So I didn't find him anything, but oh well, if I have to buy him new shorts and jeans for school in the fall, that is ok, cause the girls are all set.....
Friday was much the same as Thursday, and more sales.  I even got Hannah a HUGE play house that is so nice and the family paid 300.00 for it 2 years ago (and they are still at that price) and sold it to us lucky people for 50.00...
I brought all the stuff home and got it cleaned, and put it away to only deal with my health issue that I have been dealing with for over a year, and it wasn't a good night at all, let me just say I almost landed myself in the ER for surgery, I called the doc and she said, if things didn't get better thru the night, that I needed to come in and she would do a procedure to help me....But, it did get better...
Saturday the kids and I spent the day in AWH over the stuff they had got, and waiting to hear from Daddy.  You see Daddy went on a little bit of an adventure of his own, a wild boar hunt.  You really can't call it a hunt though.....Let me tell you why, they came right up to the guys, mabye 15 feet from them, Chad had his bow at full draw and had to let down cause he couldn't stop laughing, this surely wasn't a hunt to him....But, he did shoot one, and it was BIG...Over 200lbs....So in about a week you are all invited for a HUGE cookout, as the meat will be back from the butcher...
Sunday was again a day of rest for the kids and I....We played and organized several things in the house.  I needed the R & R due to my adventure.  I again had issues in the evening, so I am calling the doc today and going to see if he can get me in, and I think he is going to get the surgery going, against what I have wanted to do.  So keep me in your prayers, please....
Have a blessed day to you all!

Spring is HERE!

  • Apr. 18th, 2008 at 7:13 AM

Well I just can't believe that Spring is here, I love spring!
We have been so busy.  We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary and had a great weekend.  I just can't believe it has been that long already.  I made a discovery over that weekend, Bob Evans makes the best stuffed pancakes, the banana and pecan one is OUT OF THIS WORLD good.

I have taken on a little 3 year old boy named Ryan that comes to our home 4 days a week, and Hannah just loves it when he comes.  I am still cleaning the office for Remax, as well as cleaning my Mom's home.
Hannah goes to kindnergarten round up next week, she talks about going to school often.  Mom isn't sure how she likes it yet.  Although the day will be busy taking the kids back and forth, but it is soooooo worth it.  It hasn't been a good year for the kids and they are ready for the year to end, and Mom and Dad couldn't be happier either.
Taylor got hit in the head with a basketball the other day while at school and she came home just screaming in pain, it was so horrible.  I got her in the house, gave Motrin, turned the fan on her (she was so HOT) and gave her a huge glass of water to drink.  The pain just wouldn't stop, and I have never saw her cry like that before, so I called the doc and they wanted me to take her to ER.....I began to get all the kids ready to leave and she called me to the side of my bed and asked me to pray for her, so I did...I then walked away to continue preparing my other 2 kids for the trip, plus I had 3 extra kids, she yelled for me again, and said, the pain is going away.  I crawled up in my bed with her and held her, watching the pain slip away.  I laid there holding her reminding myself of the friend of mine that lost her 5 year old son, (whom Chad and I had helped take care of for 2 years, when he was younger,)  thinking what would I do if I ever lost one of my kids.  I was so over whelmed with joy that she was ok and that I had her, that I just burst into tears.
I can't imagine life without my kids.  They have made me who I am, and they complete me.  I begun thinking that I take it for granted every day, that they are here, and they are MINE....How would it be if I didn't have the fingerprints to clean off the windows, the jelly off the floor, and the sleepless nights?
God has given me the greatest gift, the gift of MOTHERHOOD....I need to thank him more often for that gift.  I just take if for granted, and for that I apologized to him.
God and my family are the greatest joy in my life!
           Have a blessed day

I did it!

  • Apr. 1st, 2008 at 11:51 AM

I have been wanting to sit up a page so that friends and family can see what we are doing, and I did it...
So let's don't delay one minute...
We recently celebrated our first Easter in our new house, and WOW did we have a nice dinner, with lots of YUMMY food,
as well as 28 family members under one roof, ours....I love it.  The bunny also left 146 eggs to be found within our yard.
It was the nicest holiday I think we have ever celebrated.  I thank God every day for our new home.
Chad and I are getting ready to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary the 14th of April, with a weekend of no kids.
I just can't believe that we have been together for 18 years and married 13, where did time go.  I am blessed to have a man that loves
me more and more everyday, and we still have that same spark that we had 18 years ago, love like that is hard to find these days.
C.J and Taylor are ready for his spring break, which starts this Friday.  They do things silly out here in Millington....
We recently decided that the children were going to go back to Birch Run starting next year.  This school is not at all what we had hoped for, and the kids are just miserable.  Hannah will also be starting school this year, that will really be strange for Mom.
I am ready for Spring, I love to plant flowers and make the yard look pretty-full.....I so enjoy walking outside to see the flowers in full bloom, and Chad on the lawn mower, with no shirt, and the smell of fresh cut grass.....Yup, I am day-dreaming now, I can't help it.
I also can't wait to get on the 4 wheeler and rip down the road, and go fishing at the creek down the road, for none other than
crayfish...Oh it is fun..
I hope that you have enjoyed all the info and I will be slowly adding postings, and photos, so check back often.
    God Bless!
